Marta Mata is a young Portuguese pianist based in Lisbon. In addition to her solo practice, Marta is also an enthusiastic chamber music performer who is involved in projects.
Marta has won awards in competitions like Oeiras Piano Competition (1st Prize) and INATEL/OML Prize.
She graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, in the class of Professor Aleksandar Madžar, after completing her master's degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Professor Frank van de Laar, supported by a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
